Forget Me Not

Long forgotten
Forgotten places
Forgotten ones
Forgotten lore
Long since forgotten

Gone but not forgotten
Forgotten faces
Forgotten heroes
Forgotten kisses
The forgotten

Not soon forgotten
Forgotten money
Forgotten youth
Unforgotten
You will never be forgotten

BACK

Back to the future
back in time,
back again,
back to one,
back forty,
back in the game,
back slide,
back and forth,
back in black.

Back pack,
back door,
back yard,
back off,
back up,
back bend,
back flip,
back out,
back for more.

Back to back,
back talk,
back hand,
back slap,
back arm,
back kick,
back side,
back down,
back away.

Come

Come all ye faithful,
come around,
come quick,
come together,
come on,
come out.

Come a little bit closer,
come clean,
come play,
come what may,
come along,
come again.

Come fly away,
come here,
come in,
come in handy,
come undone,
come sail away.

Come back,
come up with,
come hither,
come home,
come dance with me,
come Monday.

Let

Let’s start at the beginning
Let’s see
Let’s be friends
Let bygones be bygones
Let’s talk
Let’s eat
Let it burn
Let me out

Let the party begin
Let’s make a deal
Let it rip
Let it fly
Let loose
Let’s dance
Let the good times roll
Let go

Let it lie
Let them eat cake
Let me be frank
Let sleeping dogs lie
Let it ride
Let’s move on
Let’s face the facts
Let me be clear

Let’s face it
Let it snow
Let freedom ring
Let up
Let it go
Let it be
Let me in
Let there be light

-Wodke Hawkinson

Give

Give Thanks

Give out
Give up
Give way
Give in
Give a damn

Give wisely
Give generously
Give me a chance
Give them a piece of your mind
Give it your all

Give blood
Give and take
Give over
Give away
Give more

Give back
Give it here
Give a hand
Give me liberty or give me death
Give your heart

Give peace a chance

-Wodke Hawkinson

By

By golly,
by gum,
by design,
and by George.

By the seat
of my pants,
by the rules,
by god.

By and by,
and by far,
by the time
I get to Phoenix.

By hook or
by crook,
by gosh,
by force.

By diggidy dog,
by the book,
and by the light
of the silvery moon.

By large, by
sea or by air,
by now,
and by then.

By the way,
by the hair on
my chinny chin
chin, by large.

By choice,
by referrel,
by myself,
by the end!

  1. I think this is an excellent idea. It was fun to read. If I EVER get around to catching up on my blog (I”ve been ill), I may “borrow” your idee. I thought you were a little light on the cat ones, though. Don’t know ‘bought yours, but mine stay in so much trouble, I could come up with about a million of them. : ) (they’re good kitties, just creative)

  2. Lorene,
Wodke Ruminates on Words is fun to do. If you ever start one of one of your own, drop us a line. Karen and I both have cats and we know the mischief they can get into.
    Thanks,
    Karen & PJ
